Venue/Concert both OK but room for improvement!

This is new venue and working out the bugs on entry/security related rules. Venue is SRO unless you have and want to spend your $ to get the limited VIP experience which targets the 1-5% income club. I considered it but passed when it got to be about $300/person! MTB was instrumentally strong as expected, but lead vocalist was not so, on many songs. Warm up musician was very good and stepped in on a classic hit to save the day! They nailed “Can’t ya see” though, which was our last song before we had to exit and find a seat in the entry lobby to finish my drink. Our friends had enough of the SRO experience. Good bar selection and good service!

REALLY ENJOYED MTB

Marshall Tucker Band was great and seeing them in such a small and cozy venue was also wonderful. First time in this venue and they have a few things to work on, mostly getting people in. But enjoyed it, was worried about standing but that was not an issue and I also noticed there are some select areas with seats (VIP, I assume). Some of the early reviews complained about sound but that has been apparently worked out as it sounded just great. I will be on the lookout to see who is coming to Tanahill's Music Hall in the future.

A combo of venue and band

I don’t usually comment..,but I need to share my thoughts. We have never been to the Hard Rock Cincinnati for a concert. It was in a banquet hall with chairs in rows, all on the same level. Hard to see sometimes, but having the large screens sure was needed to see. The acoustics were absolutely horrible. We were blasted with high pitched voices and the instruments sent shivers. The band wasn’t what it used to be, of course. The lead, the one and only original band member tried so hard, but I think he needs to retire. The staff at the casino ballroom were so polite and helpful. I told them the concert was so painful and they were telling me alot of people have left already after the 3rd song. Sorry and I’m not trying to be a downer, but we won’t be attending a concert there again.
